Hi to all my dear friends and visitors of this blog. Environmental variables give us a clear idea about the various settings of our terminal, the prompt that we are working in, the name of our home directory, etc.
Definition of variable
A variable is a quantity that can take different values .it has a storage place for the value .a variable is referenced as command$[variable name]
The braces are optional but the $ is important.
